Setting Waypoints StarCraft II allows you to guide units along using waypoints. and because the UI is the same size, but takes up differing amounts of screen, the player with the huge monitor would have an advantage. You cannot assign a group of defensive structures to a control group with other buildings. I'm not just talking about preferences, someone with a huge monitor (like 1920 x 1080) would have an advantage because they could set their UI scale at the same resolution size as someone with a smaller monitor (1366 x 768). Seriously, I'm pretty sure blizzard limits UI scaling in order to prevent different kind of advantages one might get from differing scale/resolution and such with regards to both minimap, and the amount of viewable battlefield (fog of war aside). then when i am more accustomed to using the mini-map a lot i could shrink it back down so as no to block vision with customization i could make the mini-map bigger, thus training myself to use it more and improving my level of play overall. when i played more, i had a hard time watching the mini-map. complaining that his UI is better than urs is kinda like complaining that your opponent's build is better than yours in a mirror matchĮdit: just thought of something.
